Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Middle School Support
Location: Denver Area (East Side)Assignment: 1/7/2026 5/21/2026Schedule: 20-25 hours per week (part-time, schedule TBD)Placement: On-site at Columbia Middle School
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized support to middle school students within a dynamic educational setting. The caseload will typically range from 25 to 45 students, offering a diverse and rewarding therapeutic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services tailored to individual student needs in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to maximize outcomes.
- Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to on-site service delivery; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available.
This position will remain on-site within the Denver area and does not support remote work options, ensuring direct interaction with students and school staff. The part-time schedule is flexible within the assigned hours, allowing for a manageable caseload and professional growth.
