Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support an elementary school in Cambridge, MA, throughout the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about fostering student success and well-being within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support academic, social, and emotional development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights on student needs
- Assist in crisis intervention and support school-wide initiatives promoting mental health awareness
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
