A school psychologist position is available to support the educational and emotional well-being of students at a school in Framingham, MA. This role involves working collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to assess student needs, provide interventions, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment. The position will require some travel as part of the job duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide individualized educational planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
- Participate in special education evaluations and assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Travel within the geographic area to support multiple school sites as required.
