Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based position is available for a bilingual (Spanish) Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary students (K-5) in Plano, TX. This contract role offers both onsite and itinerant service delivery, with flexibility for part-time or full-time hours (20-30 hours per week). Responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations for school-aged children and providing intervention services as needed. The position also provides the opportunity to complete report writing remotely, allowing a balance between onsite interactions and offsite documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language evaluations for K-5 students within the school setting
- Deliver speech therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and IEP planning as required
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment, treatment, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively as an itinerant therapist
