Requirements & Qualifications

Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in Maryland (required)

Active Maryland Department of Education (MD DOE) certification

Masters Degree in Social Work (required)

In-person counseling experience with school-age children (school-based experience preferred but not required)

Experience providing counseling and family-based services

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills

Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and student mental health strategies

Ability to contribute to IEP development and implementation

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

Detailed resume required, including degree completion dates and complete employment history
