Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Elementary School
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based position serving an elementary school caseload. This rewarding opportunity focuses on supporting students in developing effective communication, language, and social interaction skills within an educational setting.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all requirements established by local and state education agencies, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (CFs may be considered depending on district guidelines)

Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
Typical Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to determine eligibility for speech and language services
-
Develop and implement individualized IEPs to address communication needs
-
Provide direct therapy for speech, language, articulation, fluency, and social/pragmatic skills

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service staff to support classroom success
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding student progress
-
Utilize evidence-based interventions and assistive technology when appropriate
