Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide direct therapy services to students in the Houston, TX area schools. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help students develop communication, speech, and language skills that support their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs).

Implement treatment plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP.

Collect data and document student progress toward therapy goals.

Support classroom teachers and staff in promoting effective communication strategies.

Prepare and organize therapy materials and maintain accurate student records.

Collaborate regularly with the supervising SLP and school teams to ensure high-quality services.
Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Active Texas SLPA license required.

Previous experience working with children or in school-based settings preferred.
