Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties

Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress

Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines

Deliver therapy sessions individually or in groups as needed

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student needs and progress
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Massachusetts SLP license required

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs are encouraged to apply

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Must complete fingerprinting and background checks per district and state regulations
