There is a part-time contract job available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fredericksburg, VA. Blazer Jobs is openly interviewing for this school-based role, serving a middle school caseload.
To be considered, applicants must meet all requirements set in place by local and state regulations. Experience supporting special education students and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams is highly preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students goals

Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings

Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other service providers to support classroom communication strategies

Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
-
Offer consultation and training to staff and families on communication techniques and assistive technology

Support middle school students in achieving functional communication across academic and social environments
