Speech Language Pathologist Job Duties

Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs

Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input as part of the student support team
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Texas SLP License and ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
