Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position supports K-12 students in a Minneapolis, MN school setting as a Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials. The role is a contract assignment for the current school year (CSY), focusing on behavioral assessments and interventions to promote positive student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to implement evidence-based strategies
- Provide ongoing data collection and progress monitoring
- Train school staff on behavior management techniques
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) related to behavior goals
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 school settings
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed documentation
