Physical Therapist Job Duties

Evaluate and provide physical therapy services to students with mobility and motor skill challenges

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Support adaptive equipment needs and classroom accessibility when necessary
Federal and State Requirements

Doctorate or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Active Florida PT License required

Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
