Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth

Maintain compliance with state and federal education standards

Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Texas SLP License and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required

Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
