School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to assess student needs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective interventions and supports

Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations based on data

Support positive behavioral interventions and promote social-emotional learning

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Current New Hampshire certification or licensure as a School Psychologist required

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by New Hampshire school districts
