School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

Provide counseling and consultation services to students, staff, and families

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

Maintain detailed records and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited university

Active Texas School Psychologist License (LSSP) required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
