Role Summary
As a School Psychologist in Houston, TX, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessment, consultation, and intervention. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs.
Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide direct and indirect interventions to support students mental health and academic success.
Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on effective strategies for student support.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Requirements (Texas)
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid Texas licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (LSSP required).
Experience in school-based psychological services preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
