A K-8 school in Aurora, CO is seeking an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026. This role provides direct speech and language therapy services, consultations, assessments, and participates actively in IEP and 504 meetings. The caseload ranges from 35 to 40 students, including 20-25 mild to moderate cases and 10-15 moderate to severe cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language services to students
- Conducting assessments, referrals, and evaluations
- Participating in IEP and 504 meetings to support students individualized needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure as an SLP in Colorado or eligibility to obtain it through CDE
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-8), particularly with mild/moderate and moderate/severe caseloads
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
