Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist needed for a full-time, on-site position within a K-8 school setting in the Denver area. This contract role spans the current school year, starting in early January 2026 and concluding in late May 2026. The position supports students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, focusing on delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech-language interventions and assessments to students K-8.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize current best practices to enhance communication skills and educational outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in adherence to district and state guidelines.
- Participate in regular meetings with district supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure.
- Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within school settings, especially K-8.
- Ability to effectively manage caseload and documentation under district requirements.
- Commitment to on-site service delivery; no virtual or hybrid options available.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based at Harmony Ridge P-8 school in the Denver metropolitan area.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: January 7, 2026 through May 21, 2026.
