A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Aurora, CO, serving students from Harmony Ridge P-8. The role supports the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of district personnel and operates within a structured school environment. The contract period runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support to K-12 students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and educational staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes compliant with educational and district standards.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to effective communication among staff and families.
- Adhere to all district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification as an SLPA.
- Proven experience working as an SLPA within a school system, preferably K-12.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for educational settings.
- Ability and commitment to provide services exclusively on-site; no virtual or hybrid arrangements.
