Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Waterford, MI, this contract opportunity is ideal for experienced or entry-level Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in serving a primarily Pre-K caseload within a K-12 school setting. The assignment runs from November 8, 2025, through June 12, 2026, and requires onsite presence throughout the Chicago school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students, focusing primarily on Pre-K populations.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Utilize best practices to address the unique challenges faced by urban children and their families.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Michigan (CFYs must hold a temporary license and ideally have an established supervisor).
- Experience or interest in working within an urban school environment.
- Strong understanding of resources appropriate for urban students and families.
- Availability to work onsite 35 hours per week.
- Transcripts from university studies will be required for consideration.
