Located in Pontiac, MI, this opportunity focuses on providing social-emotional support within a K-12 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year (CSY) on a contract basis. The role centers around working directly with general education students individually and in groups, offering mental health support and contributing to program implementation, such as positive behavior interventions and professional learning for school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group social-emotional support to general education students
- Collaborate with school staff to implement positive behavior programs and professional learning opportunities
- Provide additional support to classrooms and school buildings as needs arise
Qualifications:
- Masters degree required with one of the following licenses or credentials: Licensed Masters Level Psychologist or Limited Licensed Masters Level Psychologist (under supervision) Michigan Department of Education (MDE) credentialed Masters Level School Psychologist Licensed Masters Level Social Worker or Licensed Masters Level School Social Worker Limited Licensed Masters Level Social Worker (under supervision) Licensed Bachelor Level Social Worker enrolling or planning to enroll in a masters-level program within 24 months to advance license Licensed Masters Level Marriage and Family Therapist Licensed Masters Level Professional Counselor or Limited Licensed Masters Level Professional Counselor (under supervision) School Counselor Credential holders meeting additional requirements including SCL, NT endorsement, PSCC, or TSCL with plans to obtain LPC credentials within 24 months
