A K-12 school located in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services and support for students throughout the school year contract. This position plays a vital role in collaborating with educators and families to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and promote mental health within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning, behavior, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to design and implement appropriate interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Advocate for student mental health and contribute to a positive school climate.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
