A full-time school psychologist position is available to support K-12 students across multiple schools in Waterbury, CT. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 16, 2026, with strong potential for renewal due to recent staff resignations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student well-being and academic success
- Provide direct counseling and intervention as needed
- Assist in developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current, active school psychologist license in Connecticut
- Proven experience working within K-12 schools
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and interpreting data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time in assigned schools
Schedule & Locations:
- Position 1: West Bristol School (K-4 students), 8:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Position 2: Bristol Eastern High School, one of two psychologists, 7:15 a.m. 2:25 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Position 3: Destinations Therapeutic Program, 8:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
