A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year through June 16, 2026, with a strong possibility of renewal due to recent staff resignations. The role involves serving students across various age groups and grade levels (K-12) within a school district in Hartford, CT. Multiple openings are available, each aligned with distinct school sites and schedules.
Positions and Hours:
- West Bristol School (Grades K-4): Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Bristol Eastern High School: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:25 PM, working as one of two psychologists
- Destinations Therapeutic Program: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for students across multiple grade levels
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement interventions
- Manage caseloads effectively according to student needs and program assignments
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the schools support services
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut school psychologist license
- Demonstrated experience working as a school psychologist in K-12 settings
- Proficiency in conducting educational and psychological evaluations
- Ability to work onsite full-time during school hours
