A school-based occupational therapy position is available for a full-semester contract in Hartford, CT, supporting K-12 students. This role involves working closely with elementary and middle school students to provide therapeutic interventions that enhance their educational experience. The position is full-time, at 35 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible and an initial duration of three months, with the possibility of extension through the remainder of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students at elementary and middle school levels.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to tailor interventions effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.
- Comply with school district policies, including fingerprinting and background checks.
Qualifications:
- Active occupational therapy license in Connecticut.
- Proven experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students.
- Knowledge of school-based therapy strategies and IEP processes.
- Completion of district-required fingerprinting and background checks.
- Ability to engage effectively in a virtual interview process.

- Based in Hartford, CT, with caseloads primarily at Holmes Elementary and Slade Middle School.
