Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working within school settings serving K-12 populations
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with educators and families
- Ability to design and implement individualized speech and language interventions
- Familiarity with school-based assessment tools and progress monitoring
Location:
- Puyallup, Washington
- Serving students across kindergarten through 12th grade
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services tailored to students individual needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students communication challenges
- Develop, document, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultative support to teachers and caregivers to reinforce communication development within the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely records to meet school district and state regulations
