Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in the Baltimore area. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) is based on-site across two elementary schools, serving PreK through 5th-grade students from February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with the possibility of extending into the Extended School Year (ESY) services in July 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students, supporting individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with certified SLPs, teachers, and school staff to deliver effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements.
- Attend team meetings and participate in student evaluations as directed.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and educators.
- Ability to manage caseload and deliver services in a timely, organized manner.
Location:
- On-site roles at Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week), both located within the Baltimore area.
