Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide support services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in elementary school settings serving students from PreK through 5th grade across two schools in the Baltimore area. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for candidates with active Maryland Professional Licensure, looking to make an impact in child development within a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) with targeted interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other educational staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Serve at Magnolia Elementary three days per week and Prospect Mill Elementary two days per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting, preferably in a school environment.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively across multiple sites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to on-site work; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
Location & Schedule:
- Position located in the Baltimore area at two elementary schools.
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Assignment dates from February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with potential extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services during July 2026.
