Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract opportunity supporting elementary students in the Baltimore area. This assignment serves PreK through 5th grade students at two schools: Magnolia Elementary for three days per week and Prospect Mill Elementary for two days per week. The role begins February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with a possibility to extend into the summer for Extended School Year services in July.
Location and Schedule:
- On-site position in Parkville, MD (Baltimore area)
- Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Split between two schools: 3 days at Magnolia Elementary and 2 days at Prospect Mill Elementary
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy support to elementary-aged students (PreK-5th grade)
- Implement individual therapy plans under supervision
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and organizational skills
