A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to provide essential support in K-12 educational settings through a leave contract position. This role begins mid-October and extends until August 7, 2026, with flexible hours of 35 per week and consideration for part-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across grades K-12.
- Cover maternity leave assignments within schools in Lackawanna County.
- Provide itinerant support to students in the Dunmore, PA area during the spring semester.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure is required.
- Prior experience working in school-based settings is essential.
- Ability to obtain and complete all necessary Pennsylvania clearances.
- Reliable transportation is required to travel between work sites.
- Availability for an initial interview conducted via Zoom.
