Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-semester contract position offers an excellent opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and active SLP licensure in Massachusetts to provide essential services in a dynamic K-12 school setting. The role involves two openings covering maternity and medical leaves, both with immediate start dates. Candidates can choose between full-time or part-time schedules, working approximately 32.5 hours per week onsite to effectively manage caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and prepare detailed reports
- Deliver tailored speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers and parents, providing consultations and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, including writing goals and documentation
- Facilitate communication to support student progress and collaborative interventions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Ability to complete CORI background check and fingerprinting as per state regulations
- Comfortable with onsite work environment due to caseload demands
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
