Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Boston, MA, this full-time, contract position offers a full-semester opportunity to work within an elementary school setting. You will provide speech-language pathology (SLP) services to a diverse student population, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), focusing on assessments, reports, service delivery, consultations, IEP development, goal setting, and ongoing communication with parents and teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and prepare detailed reports
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students, including those with ASD
- Collaborate with educational staff through consultations, IEP writing, and goal development
- Communicate effectively with parents and teachers regarding student progress
- Utilize AAC devices to support student communication
- Maintain compliance with all school policies and state licensure requirements
- Participate in Zoom interviews as part of the hiring process
- Work onsite due to caseload requirements
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, particularly with ASD and AAC devices
- CCCs strongly preferred; Candidates holding Clinical Fellowships (CFs) or strong Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials will be considered
- CORI background check and fingerprinting required prior to employment
