Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-semester contract position serving K-12 students in Ludlow, MA, with work focused primarily on a profound autism program as well as some general special education students. This part-time role starts at approximately 20 hours per week with potential to increase to full-time based on client needs and performance. The contract runs from February 2, 2026, through June 23, 2026, with a possibility to extend for Extended School Year (ESY) services.
Location: Ludlow, MA (clients main office is in West Springfield, MA)
Duration: Full semester, February 2, 2026 June 23, 2026
Schedule: Part-time (approx. 20 hours/week) with possible increase to full-time
Student Population: Profound autism program and general special education students
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and providing speech-language therapy services, focusing on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
- Collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participating in programming at multiple campuses
Qualifications:
- Current, active Massachusetts SLP licensure required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Extensive experience with AAC evaluations and therapy services
- Experience working with K-12 populations, particularly with profound autism
