A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Hartford, CT, serving elementary school students across two school sites (locations to be determined). This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June 9, 2026, with 35 hours per week scheduled from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy to a diverse range of students within inclusive classrooms. Candidates should be prepared to support students with varying disabilities, with no specialized classrooms involved. The role requires collaboration with school staff to ensure effective intervention and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but candidates receiving Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are also welcome.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Connecticut.
- Proven experience working in school settings.
- Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks.
- Direct experience providing therapy in inclusive elementary classrooms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability for a Zoom interview.
