A Contract Physical Therapist role is available to provide leave coverage from early April through late May. This full-time position serves a diverse PreK through high school population, supporting approximately 55 students with physical and multiple disabilities across six different school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students with mild to severe physical and multiple disabilities.
- Provide itinerant therapy services across six schools, with dedicated planning time allocated at the three largest sites.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student needs in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize pediatric mobility equipment effectively to enhance student mobility and participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with Colorado Department of Education standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Physical Therapy certification.
- Experience working within Colorado school settings.
- Proficiency in writing IEPs and familiarity with pediatric mobility equipment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple school teams.
