Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Somerton, AZ, with a contract extending through the current school year. This role focuses on supporting K-8 students through evaluations, consultation, intervention development, IEP creation, and crisis managementall performed onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for elementary students
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation services to staff and parents to support student needs
- Manage and respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure and district requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Psychologist license and Education credential
- IVP fingerprint clearance card (required to be included with application)
- Experience working with K-8 students in school settings
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and developing interventions
- Ability to work effectively onsite within a collaborative team environment
- Availability for full-time hours preferred; part-time considered if full-time candidates are unavailable
