Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support for K-12 students within a school setting in Mckinney, TX. Serving the needs of Paloma Creek Elementary, this contract position runs through the current school year with an immediate start and extends to May 22, 2025.
Location:
- Mckinney, TX (onsite at Paloma Creek Elementary)
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Onsite 4 days per week with 1 day remote work allowed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, evaluation, and evidence-based speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain detailed documentation consistent with school and state regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP license with full certification (no provisionals, SLPAs, or clinical fellows accepted)
- Experience working with school-age children (K-12)
- Familiarity with caseload management and reporting within educational environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Additional Details:
- This is a contract position through the current school year
- 40 hours per week
- Onsite presence required most days with limited remote flexibility
