A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to work within a K-12 school environment in Richardson, TX. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering a hybrid work schedule with 37.5 hours per week. The role involves supporting a diverse student population by providing essential speech and language services while assisting with program supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and attend IEP meetings.
- Supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to enhance service delivery.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 100 students requiring speech-language services.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to foster effective communication and student progress.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in a school-based setting providing speech-language services.
- Strong organizational skills to handle evaluations, caseload management, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervisory experience or readiness to oversee an SLP Assistant.
