A school psychologist position is available to provide specialized psychological services across multiple elementary campuses. This itinerant role involves supporting student evaluations, attending educational planning meetings, and collaborating with school teams to enhance student learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Attend Admissions, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss evaluation results and develop individualized education plans.
- Participate in Student Support Meetings to determine whether testing is warranted.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation based on assessment findings.
- Manage a caseload across three elementary schools within close geographic proximity.
- Coordinate time effectively between campuses, maintaining on-site presence for all testing activities.
- Utilize on-site workspace to complete report writing, with some flexibility for remote work.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school populations.
- Ability to manage multiple campuses and maintain organized caseload records.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff.
