Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to cover a maternity leave from January through early April. This contracted position serves elementary students in grades K-5 across two campuses, supporting a caseload of approximately 48 students. The role demands onsite work at two specific school locations, including two half days at an additional campus.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current active state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates in Clinical Fellowship status must have supervision arranged independently prior to starting, as the district cannot provide supervision
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Ability to manage caseload responsibilities across multiple campuses
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to meet the educational needs of students
- Collaborate with educational professionals and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district policies
- Participate in required team meetings and professional development sessions
Location:
- Onsite work is required at schools located in Lewisville, Texas, including Old Settlers Elementary and Southridge Elementary
Schedule:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
