Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a challenging role for a skilled school psychologist to support three elementary campuses in Plano, TX. The role is itinerant, requiring regular visits across campuses focused in East and Central Plano. The opportunity is contracted for the 2025-2026 school year, from January through May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group psychological evaluations for students.
- Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss student needs.
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive psychological reports.
- Participate in student support meetings to identify students requiring assessment.
- Coordinate services and communicate effectively with school staff and families.
- Perform on-site testing and have flexibility to complete report writing remotely with access to a designated workspace on campus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple campuses.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ARD processes and student support meetings.
- Commitment to providing high-quality direct and indirect services to students.
