A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 educational setting located in Irving, TX. This contract position spans the current school year, ending in late May 2026, offering a professional role supporting student communication development across a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 80 students requiring speech and language services.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations to assess speech-language needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals.
- Supervise and collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and ensuring compliance with educational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials.
- Experience working within school settings serving K-12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents.
