Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in supporting school-aged childrens developmental and educational needs. This position is based in North Little Rock, AR, and involves working within a school environment with some travel requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating students fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills to develop tailored intervention plans
- Delivering direct therapy services aimed at enhancing childrens academic participation and independence
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom settings
- Documenting progress and maintaining clear, detailed records to track student outcomes
- Participating in team meetings and contributing professional expertise to multidisciplinary planning
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and relevant credentials
- Experience providing OT services in educational settings
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt therapy approaches based on individual student needs
- Comfortable with travel requirements within the designated area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students and staff
