Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist opportunity is available to provide essential support within educational settings, focusing on the evaluation and promotion of student mental health, learning abilities, and behavioral development. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student challenges and promote positive educational outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational and behavioral plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide crisis intervention support as needed within the school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing interventions in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws, special education processes, and mental health practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families.
- Flexibility to travel as required for different school assignments.
