Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide psychological services as a School Psychologist for a full-time contract position at a high school located approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC, in the Washington DC Area. This role supports students within a single high school setting from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for high school students.
- Collaborate closely with the districts mental health support team, including social workers, to provide integrated support services.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student mental health and learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Psychology licensure in the state of Virginia.
- Valid Virginia Department of Education certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably within public school districts.
- Ability to work full-time hours on-site; this role does not offer hybrid or remote options.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
