A dynamic opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students from PreK through 12th grade in a K-12 school in Clint, TX. This contract position runs through the current school year with an immediate start and offers an engaging caseload focused on making a meaningful impact on student communication development.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language services to a varied student population, with a primary focus on high school students who have experienced limited services this year
- Managing a substantial caseload of up to 64 students for high school or approximately 40 students for K-8, including planning and implementing IEPs
- Performing thorough documentation and cleanup of communication services records
- Providing communication support to help students catch up on missed services
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, especially in K-12 settings
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseload backlog and documentation
- Ability to work full days, five days per week; part-time schedules may be considered but require full-day commitments
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory
