A full-time, virtual contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric teletherapy services within a school setting for the upcoming academic semester. This position offers a remote work environment supporting students in Harvey, LA, with the potential for annual renewal based on performance and program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to school-aged children through teletherapy platforms
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals and student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student outcomes
- Comply with state licensure requirements and school district policies regarding service delivery and teletherapy practices
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with active certification in Louisiana; out-of-state candidates must hold valid credentials in both their home state and Louisiana
- Demonstrated experience providing school-based speech therapy services, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with pediatric populations
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery of speech and language services, including technological competency and virtual communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a virtual setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and educational teams remotely
