Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
There is a full-time contract opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist in Springfield, MA. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified professionals for this school-based position supporting students across a range of grade levels.
To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements set in place by local and state regulations. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports to guide educational planning and support services.

Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide counseling and behavioral support services to students individually and in small groups.
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic achievement and social-emotional well-being.

Support the implementation of behavioral intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies.
-
Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.
Requirements:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology.

Active Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license as a School Psychologist.

Strong understanding of IEP processes, MTSS/RTI frameworks, and data-driven decision-making.

Prior school-based experience strongly preferred.
