About the Role
The Physical Therapist will provide services to students with a variety of physical and developmental needs, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities. Working as part of a collaborative educational team, youll assess student abilities, design effective interventions, and track progress toward IEP goals.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs

Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students across grade levels

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to enhance student mobility and access

Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student planning
Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy License (required)

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Comprehensive understanding of IEP implementation and IDEA compliance

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
