Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed School Psychologist is sought to support student mental health and learning needs within a dynamic school environment. This role involves working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, intervene, and promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students learning and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Assist in creating supportive school environments through consultation and training.
- Travel to different school sites to deliver services and participate in meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results.
- Strong understanding of special education law and IDEA guidelines.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills to work with diverse school teams and families.
- Willingness to travel between schools as part of service delivery.
